Job Title: Addictions Therapist – Mental Health Hospital
Salary: £39,140-£45,320 per annum (pro-rata for part time)
Hours: Full time or Part time available
Location: Bromley - On-site
Qualifications: Level 5 Diploma in Counselling and/or relevant professional qualification in addictions (BACP accreditation required or working towards accreditation within 6-12 months)

Overview:
Compass Associates is excited to partner with a well-established specialist mental health hospital in Bromley to recruit an Addictions Therapist for their highly skilled and supportive team. This hospital provides outstanding care for individuals facing mental health challenges and addiction, offering both inpatient and outpatient services.
Set within tranquil, landscaped grounds, this hospital provides a therapeutic environment ideal for recovery. The facility offers single occupancy, en-suite bedrooms, private consulting rooms, communal lounges, and an on-site restaurant tailored to dietary needs.
As an Addictions Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering a structured and intensive addiction treatment programme. This includes facilitating group therapy, conducting individual sessions, and developing personalised treatment plans for those in recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate psycho-educational and relapse prevention therapy groups.
Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions with patients.
Complete comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans.
Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery.
Provide ongoing aftercare support and guidance.
What We’re Looking For:
Level 5 Diploma in Counselling and/or relevant professional qualification in addictions.
Full BACP accreditation (or working towards accreditation within 6-12 months).
Experience facilitating group therapy and supporting patients in addiction recovery.
Experience with 12-Step Programme
Strong understanding of abstinence-based treatment models.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A flexible and compassionate approach.
Salary & Benefits:
Competitive Salary: £39,140-£45,320 per annum (pro-rata).
For candidates working towards accreditation: £27,810-£36,050 per annum (pro-rata).
