At present, we are looking for a dedicated and experienced Cath Lab Staff Nurse to join their team, where you will play a key role in delivering high-quality care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.

The Role                                                                   

The successful candidate will work as part of their highly specialised Cardiac Cath Lab team to provide effective, evidence-based and patient focused care. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures such as Angiograms, Angioplasties, PPM insertions, TAVI, and Radiofrequency ablations.
• Support Interventional Radiology, PICC line insertion, and Permcath insertions.
• Play a key role in vascular procedures, including EVAR (Endovascular repair) and more.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs, administer medications, and assist with interventions during procedures.
• Working closely with Consultants and the multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standard of care is delivered

This is a full-time position consisting of 37.5 hours per week, which will fall between the Cath Lab opening times between 8am-6pm.

- RGN qualification   

- NMC Registration    

- Previous experience Cardiac Cath Lab experience

- Passion for high quality care
