Compass Associates are extremely proud to be working with a Leading Private Hospital, located in Central London, who are recognised as the UKs No.1 provider for cardiac care. Our client provides exceptional specialist care in all areas of cardiology and cardiac surgery. At present, we are looking for a dedicated and experienced Staff Nurse to join their team on their Cardiology Ward, where you will play a key role in delivering high-quality care to patients undergoing a range of cardiac surgeries including Heart Valve Surgery, TAVI, Aortic Root Surgery, PEARS and Septal Myectomy to name a few.

                 

The Role                                                                   

The successful candidate will work as part of their highly specialised Cardiac team to provide effective, evidence-based and patient focused care to those undergoing a range of minimally invasive and complex cardiac and thoracic procedures. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering exceptional pre and postoperative care, ensuring optimal patient outcomes
  • Manage complex clinical tasks, including invasive lines (central lines, catheters, and temporary pacing wires) and ITU patient transfers, while ensuring seamless, thorough handovers for continuity of care.
  • Lead by example, providing clinical guidance and mentorship to nursing staff
  • Working closely with the multidisciplinary teams make up of consultants, physiotherapists and occupational therapists to create and execute tailored care plans that promote faster recovery and enhance patient well-being.

 

This is a full-time position consisting of 37.5 hours per week, which includes days, nights and weekends.

Role Requirements                                                                  

- RGN qualification   

- NMC Registration    

- Previous experience working within a Cardiology Ward

Summary
