Location: Southend-on-Sea
Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, Available to work Weekends)
Salary: £27,000 per annum
On-call: Shared rota responsibilities

The organisation is a reputable entity registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), specialising in residential care for individuals with learning disabilities across multiple locations. Each location features a residential unit, fostering a nurturing and supportive environment for service users. The organisation is currently seeking an accomplished and dedicated Care coordinator to join the team and uphold its commitment to excellence in care.
About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic, compassionate Care coordinator to join a supportive care team providing residential services to people with learning disabilities. This is a key leadership role across several small, well-run homes, supporting both staff and residents to ensure high standards of care and daily operations.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver and oversee high-quality, person-centred care

Coordinate care plans, medication audits, and health & safety checks

Lead shifts, supervise and mentor care staff

Support service users with daily living and wellbeing

Communicate effectively with families, professionals, and management

Participate in the on-call rota and provide shift cover when necessary
What We’re Looking For

NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Health & Social Care

Experience in a senior or management role within care

Excellent communication and leadership skills

Team player with a genuine passion for working with individuals with learning disabilities

Organised, reliable, and committed to delivering outstanding care
