Care Coordinator | Live-In Care | Worcester Park

Role: Care Coordinator
Salary: £27,000 – £29,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Full-time, office-based with hybrid flexibility after probation

 

The Opportunity

We are recruiting for two Care Coordinators to join a highly regarded homecare provider at their Worcester Park office. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of an innovative and supportive team within a service recently recognised as Outstanding by the CQC.

These roles have become available due to both expansion and a replacement need, offering a chance for experienced coordinators or strong step-up candidates to develop their careers in a fast-paced, forward-thinking environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of 50–60 live-in care placements

  • Schedule placements well in advance (minimum 6 weeks) to ensure seamless continuity of care

  • Handle incoming calls from clients, carers, and stakeholders, providing effective support and escalation where required

  • Respond to emergencies, including arranging carer cover at short notice

  • Monitor alerts and triage issues, escalating to Care Managers when necessary

  • Participate in the weekday on-call rota (additional pay on top of salary)

  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and CQC standards

  • Work collaboratively with the wider coordination and management team

About You

  • Previous experience as a Care Coordinator, Care Scheduler, or in a customer service/administrative role (healthcare experience preferred but not essential)

  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail

  • Confident communicator, able to liaise with carers, clients, and high-profile private families

  • Professional, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced and supportive team environment

  • Comfortable taking accountability for mistakes and working collaboratively to find solutions

  • IT literate with the ability to use care planning and rostering systems (experience with ACP Access People Planner or Access Care Planning advantageous)

This role is based in Worcester Park, with excellent transport links from Sutton, Epsom, Kingston, Croydon, and surrounding South West London and Surrey areas.
