Compass Associates is pleased to be collaborating with a reputable adult health and social care provider that specialises in offering the finest care possible to those with mental health, learning disabilities, and autism.  

Together we are seeking a strong headed and enthusiastic Care Manager to join their Supported Living service in the Horley area to support those with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Complex Health needs (i.e. challenging behaviour). This is a great opportunity to lead a dedicated team and contribute to the well-being and development of the residents in your care. 

Key Responsibilities  

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of supportive living service
• Service users - learning disability, autism, complex needs (i.e. challenging behaviour) 
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support services  
• Hardworking and proactive leadership 
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines  

Location  

This role is based near Horley and commutable from Redhill, Mertham, Sevenoaks, Epsom, Crawley, Edenbridge, Purley and East Grinstead.

Requirements  

• NVQ Level 4/5/6 in Health and Social Care 
• Management experience within a residential/supported living setting 
• Strong leadership and communication skills  
• Dedication to enhancing the lives of individuals with Learning Disability and Mental Health needs     
• Strong knowledge of compliance

Interview process

1st stage - Face to face interview at the service / head office with the Area Manager and the Recruitment Manager. 

2nd stage - Face to face at the service with the Area Manager and meet some of the team/service users
