Registered Manager - Children's Residential Home | Learning Disability
Location: Widnes, Cheshire
Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum

Compass Associates is proud to partner with a specialist organization dedicated to supporting children and young adults with autism and learning disabilities. This expanding company provides expert care and education across Cheshire, Greater Manchester, and Merseyside.
As part of their growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Children’s Manager to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. The role will be based at a brand-new service in Greater Manchester, set to open in 2025.
In this role as Registered Manager, you will collaborate with the Area Manager and Head of Operations to establish the new 2 – 3 bedded residential service. Once operational, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the service, leading a dedicated team of skilled professionals.
Requirements
• Studying for or qualified NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management (full support given)
• 3 years minimum management experience in a similar setting
• Background of working with children with autism and/or learning disabilities
• Knowledge of Ofsted standards
• Strong people management skills, communicator, team player
• Clear DBS / CRB
Interview Process
Informal phone call with the Director of Operations followed by a more formal interview with their Area Manager which will be combined with a site visit.
