Children’s Registered Manager – Complex Trauma

Salary up to £68,000 (including annual bonus)

Compass Associates are proud to be partnering with a well-respected provider of residential care for children and young people with complex emotional, behavioural, and developmental needs. We are currently assisting in the recruitment of a dedicated and experienced Children’s Registered Manager for a brand-new residential home in Redhill for up to six young people aged 13 to 17 who present with emotional and behavioural challenges due to backgrounds of complex trauma. 

 

The Role

  • As the Registered Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and support are delivered
  • You'll bring leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate your team.
  • You will manage key operational functions including budgeting, rota planning, regulatory inspections, and overall service performance
  • This role requires a confident, proactive candidate with excellent communication skills and a clear understanding of the commercial and strategic aspects of residential childcare

 

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a position relevant to the residential care of children
  • At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience in a similar setting
  • NVQ Level 3 In Children and Young People's Workforce
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare
  • Achieved a ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ grade within recent Ofsted Inspections
  • Registered Manager with Ofsted
  • Enhanced DBS
  • Knowledge of regulations and safeguarding
  • A strong understanding of health and social care frameworks, particularly Ofsted regulations and standards

Location

This position is commutable from Reigate, Merstham, Earlswood, Salfords, Horley, Nutfiled, Bletchingley and Chipstead.
