Clinical Deputy Manager | Elderly Nursing Home
Salary: £46,800 per annum
Location: Wath upon Dearne area, near Rotherham
Qualification: Active nursing pin essential
Hours: 40 hours per week
The Opportunity
Compass Associates are working with a valued client who have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Deputy Manager or Clinical Lead to work in their fantastic nursing home based in the Rotherham area. This home provides care for nursing, dementia and residential residents including residents with dementia. The successful candidate will need to have previous experience of working in a nursing home setting, working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, as well as working within a leadership post in a care home setting in a role such as Clinical Lead and Deputy Manager for over 2 years.
Your Role
- To positively support the Manager in providing clinical leadership to all the care team ensuring high standards of quality care provision.
- Undertake training in our electronic systems ensuring the effective recording of the care delivery.
- Utilising the Care Vision electronic system to record all care interventions ensuring all care delivered is recorded in a timely manner.
- To deputise for the function of the Registered Manager during their absence, while always supporting the decisions made by the Registered Manager.
- To maintain clinical skills at a current level and undertake such training and development as may from time-to-time be required to maintain that currency of practice
What We’re Looking For
- 2 years’ experience as Deputy Manager or Clinical Lead
- A candidate with an active nursing pin (RGN or RMN)
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
- Previous Nursing Home experience
- Elderly/Dementia Nursing experience
- Genuine passion for elderly care
- Knowledge of CQC regulations and KLOEs
Location
This role is based in the Wath upon Dearne area, near Rotherham and is easily commutable from Barnsley, Mexborough, Doncaster, Conisbrough, South Elmsall, Rotherham, Hoyland and Ackworth.
Interview Process
There is a 2 stage interview process:
- Stage 1 – On-site Interview with the Home Manager and another Clinical staff member
- Stage 2 – Interview with Home Manager & a Senior Manager
