Hourly Rate: £24.08 - £25.08 per hour

They are currently looking for a compassionate and dedicated Clinical Deputy Manager to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis at their medium-sized nursing home in Dundee.

About the Home:

The home features a hairdressing salon and well-equipped spaces for activities and entertainment, providing a comfortable and engaging environment for residents. Dining areas are warm and welcoming, with meals prepared by the in-house catering team. Menus are thoughtfully designed to offer both nutritional value and enjoyable options tailored to individual tastes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the leadership and management of the clinical and care teams.
• Ensure residents receive the highest standard of clinical care in line with their care plans.
• Oversee the administration of medication and other clinical tasks, ensuring compliance with care standards.
• Monitor and maintain compliance with regulatory standards, internal policies, and best practice clinical guidelines.
• Mentor and support the clinical and care team’s development, including conducting performance appraisals and training.
• Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to ensure the best clinical outcomes for residents.
• Take charge of the overall clinical day-to-day operations and management of the home.

Candidate Requirements:

• At least 1 year’s experience in a senior clinical position within an elderly care home setting.
• Registered Nurse (RN) with an active NMC Pin, with experience in elderly care settings.
• Experience in a clinical leadership role, overseeing clinical and care teams.
• A compassionate and patient nature with a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of elderly residents.
• Strong clinical and leadership skills, with a passion for providing high-quality care.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts (8am - 8pm), including weekends and holidays.
