Clinical Lead | Elderly Nursing Home | Liverpool
Salary: £22.50 per hour (negotiable)
Full-Time | Permanent | 40 hours per week
About the Role
We are supporting a reputable elderly nursing home provider in the Liverpool area to recruit a dedicated and clinically confident Clinical Lead.
This role will support the Home Manager with the day-to-day clinical running of the service, ensuring high-quality, safe and person-centred nursing care for residents, while providing clinical leadership and guidance to the wider staff team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Clinical Lead, Senior Nurse, or a strong Nurse looking to step up into a leadership position within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Home Manager with the daily clinical operations of the service
Lead, mentor and supervise the nursing and care team
Oversee and maintain high standards of clinical care and safety
Complete and review clinical audits and governance processes
Support with medication management and monthly cycles
Review, update and audit care plans and risk assessments
Lead on wound care and clinical risk oversight
Support with DoLS, incidents and accident reviews
Contribute to staff training and sign off clinical competencies
Maintain strong working relationships with residents, families and professionals
Requirements
Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with an active NMC PIN
Strong clinical background within an elderly nursing home environment
Confident across wound care, medication management and clinical governance
Experience leading or mentoring staff
Senior Nurses seeking a step-up will be considered
Proactive, organised and able to uphold high standards of care and compliance
Benefits
Competitive hourly rate of £22.50 (negotiable depending on experience)
40 hours per week with a blend of supernumerary and clinical shifts
