Commissioning Manager – Adult Residential Home – Learning Disabilities
Location: Urmston, Greater Manchester
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum dependant on experience

 

The Company:
Compass are working with a reputable adult social care provider who are due to launch a brand-new residential service in Urmston dedicated to providing high-quality support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs. As a growing provider, they’re committed to making a meaningful difference to the lives of the individuals they support.

 

The Role:
They are seeking an experienced and driven Registered Manager to lead the development and operation of this brand new residential service, working closely with the business development team and commissioning team. This is a unique opportunity to take the lead in commissioning and shaping a new service that will make a significant impact on the individuals they support.

As a Registered Manager within the business, you will play a vital role in the repositioning of the service, ensuring the property is fully equipped and ready to meet the needs and requirements of potential service users. You will oversee the smooth transition of this 4 bedded service and have the opportunity to really put your own stamp on it!

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the commissioning process of the new service, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
  • Ensure that the property is fully equipped and ready to meet the needs of individuals with mild LD and autism.
  • Recruit, train, and lead a team of support staff, creating a positive and empowering environment.
  • Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of service users.
  • Maintain and exceed CQC standards of service delivery, ensuring high-quality care.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and other operational aspects of the service.
  • Ensure continuous improvement of service delivery and outcomes for the individuals we support.

What We’re Looking For:

  • An experienced Registered Manager within supported living / residential care
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and the ability to lead a team to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Proven experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities and autism
  • A commitment to promoting independence and ensuring a high quality of life for the people we support.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to manage change during the service development process.
  • Experience with budget management and operational aspects of social care services
