The Role
Compass Associates are partnering with a reputable business that operates a portfolio of nursing, residential and dementia care homes across the UK. With a new opportunity in the group, they are looking to find a seasoned manager ready for a fresh challenge within a service they can develop from the ground upwards.
Located in Bridlington, once opened, the home will provide dementia nursing, residential and complex care to elderly residents.
The Candidate
In order to be considered for the role, my client are seeking a nurse qualified candidate who has previously managed care homes. A background in commissioning would be ideal but is not essential to the role. The provider are eager to find a leader who matches their ethos and values, keen to provide high-quality care for their residents and lead from the front.
An ability to network and relationship build will be a key part of the role, as the CM will be overseeing the growth of the home. Care planning, medication management and an understanding of budget oversight are all areas the manager should be proficient in.

The role is commutable from: Bridlington, Driffield, Scarborough, Hornsea, York, Malton, Beverley, Hull and Market Weighton.
Summary
My client are seeking a passionate and driven individual that can evidence a history of success within a management role. You’ll be nurse qualified, have experience working with CQC and be a visible presence in order to support the team. As a manager, you’ll put your residents at the heart of what you do and look to drive the reputation and success of the new home.
A background in commissioning would be preferred, but the provider are also open to meeting established managers with good networks that are already running a high-performing service.
