The Client

Compass Associates are extremely proud to be working with an award-winning Private Hospital, located in Chelsea, who specialise in cosmetics, aesthetics and dermatology. This purpose-built hospital is fully equipped with their brand new state-of-the-art operating theatres, consultation rooms and aesthetic and laser suite.    

Specialising in both surgical and non-surgical procedures, they provide a unique and personalised approach, to achieve the desired results for each individual. They pride themselves on their exceptional level or customer service and client satisfaction. At present, we are looking for an ambitious Cosmetic Staff Nurse to join their team.                         

The Candidate

The successful candidate will work as part of their highly specialised nursing team to provide effective and patient focused care. You will be responsible for providing pre and post-operative care for a range of cosmetic procedures including Breast Augmentation, Breast Reconstruction, Liposuction, Tummy Tuck and Rhinoplasty to name a few. Additionally, you will be responsible for liaising all relevant information between surgeons and theatre staff, wound management and patient education.   

My client is looking for someone who is friendly, caring and approachable to ensure that a high standard of care is delivered to all patients. You will be working closely with their welcoming and hard-working team, made up of clinical staff, Consultants and wider professionals. Excellent communication skills will be crucial in order to provide the highest level of patient care, aligning with their company values.     

In order to be successful with this opportunity, you will need to be clinically qualified with strong surgical experience, including wound care and venepuncture, and exposure to recovery will be advantageous. This is a full-time position consisting of 40 hours per week, which will be worked days only between Monday-Saturday.  You do not need to have experience within cosmetics, but a passion to develop in this area will go a long way!

Requirements                       

- RGN qualification    

- NMC registration    

- Up to date venepuncture skills   

- Strong clinical background and surgical experience 

- Competent and confident in wound care and wound dressings

- Pre and post operative care                        

- Excellent communication skills                           

- Motivated and enthusiastic   

- Ability to work independently to ensure the smooth day to day running of the Hospital and the effective care of patients            

Salary & Package

There is a highly generous salary of up to £38,000, dependent on experience.
