Overview

Compass Associates is proud to partner with a growing, values-driven care provider dedicated to delivering outstanding, compassionate support to adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs in a search for a Deputy Manager to join their 5-unit Supported Living service in North London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Deputy Manager to grow into Registered Manager role within the next two years.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: £30,000 - £31,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Registered Manager in leading a dedicated care team.
• Promote a culture of respect, dignity, and equality among service users and staff.
• Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for team members.
• Monitor and review service delivery, implementing improvements where needed.
• Handle staffing requirements, ensuring adequate coverage and support.
• Ensure care plans are tailored to meet individual needs and aspirations.
• Promote independence and wellbeing among residents.
• Encourage and facilitate social and recreational activities.
• Assist the Registered Manager in managing the service budget.
• Ensure effective use of resources while maximising occupancy levels.
• Ensure health and safety policies are followed.
• Work closely with the Quality and Compliance team to maintain high standards.
• Build strong relationships with residents, families, and external professionals.
• Act as a point of contact for concerns and feedback from service users and their families.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Experience as a Deputy Manager in Adult Social Care setting
• The ideal candidate will be proactive and capable of managing their responsibilities effectively, identifying areas for improvement, and maintaining the pace of service delivery.
• The candidate should be compliance-driven and have CQC and inspection experience
• The role offers a reasonable level of autonomy; the successful candidate should have the ability to spot issues and implement solutions, continuously improving service quality.
• Experience in Supported Living settings, particularly with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health, Autism, and Challenging Behaviour
• Seeking an ambitious individual with the drive to grow within the company and the potential to step into a Registered Manager role within the next two years.
