Deputy Manager - Adult Learning Disability Residential

Overview

Compass Associates are proud to be working in partnership with an established provider who specialise in providing high quality support to adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health conditions, with a remit to recruit for a Deputy Manager for their residential service basing in the Rushcliffe area.

 

 

The Position /Candidate

The Deputy Manager will work alongside the Registered Manager with ensuring the quality of care delivered across the service, whilst supporting the staffing team and residents in a way that reflects their wishes and needs of the people being supported with consistent individual support plans. You will be responsible for managing staff allocations, recruitment, auditing, and reviewing/ updating care plans whilst attending and providing supervisions for staff teams.

My client is looking for someone with previous management experience in either a Residential or Supported-Living setting, with experience of working with individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and other complex needs.

Criteria

  • Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent – Essential
  • Previous experience within a management role
  • Experience working in a similar setting – either residential or a hospital setting
  • Previous experience and understanding working with adults with acquired brain injuries and complex needs
  • Extensive knowledge on CQC guidelines and policies

 

 

Location

This role is based in Rushcliffe, Nottinghamshire and is commutable from Nottingham City Centre, Clifton, Kegworth, West Bridgford, Melton Mowbray and Loughborough.

 

 

Interview Process

The interview process involves an initial informal conversation with the Regional Manager, then a second formal interview with the Regional Manager and another member of the Senior Management Team.
