Salary: £34,000 - £36,000 per annum

Summary:
Compass Associates is pleased to be collaborating with one the country’s Prominent Children’s care providers who are inviting applications from dedicated Deputy Managers to join their award-winning team, where they will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to Children and young people in residential environments.
This organisation is looking for a Deputy Home Manager to support their Service Manager of their 8-bedded children’s homes, which provides care for children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). You will be supported by a dedicated team of staff, including a Service Manager, to ensure the highest standards of care and support are maintained.
The role will require you to work within a 8-bedroom home with Children, you’ll be ensuring that the daily operations of the home runs smoothly and maintaining the quality standards set by the company and OFSTED.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality care within the home, ensuring outstanding progress for children while overseeing day-to-day management, strategic planning, and service development. Leading a team of professionals, you will provide care tailored to each child, focusing on achieving the best outcomes. As a positive role model, you will foster trust-based relationships to support recovery, growth, and lasting change. Additionally, you will mentor staff, organise work patterns, facilitate QCF level 3 care training, conduct performance reviews, and manage the budget and financial performance of the home, all while safeguarding and promoting the well-being of the children and young people in your care.
Essential Requirements:
• Previous experience as a Team Leader, Senior Support Worker or Deputy Manager within Children’s Home
• Applicants must hold a an NVQ/QCF level 3 (children)
• 1 year’s minimum experience with the Children’s Home
• Full driving license is essential.
• Fully flexible and able to carry out on call responsibilities
