Salary: £15.00 per hour

Contract Type: 40 Hours per Week | Permanent | Mon–Fri (9am–5pm)

We are pleased to be supporting a well-established elderly care provider in their search for an experienced Deputy Manager to join their residential home in Leigh-on-Sea. The home offers high-quality, self-funded residential care in a warm, person-centred environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Deputy Manager looking to join a stable, values-led team and contribute to the continued success of a respected service.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Home Manager in the overall running of the service
Lead and supervise Care Team Managers and Care Assistants
Drive compliance with CQC regulations and internal quality standards
Manage audits, training, supervisions, and rota planning
Ensure care plans are person-centred and up-to-date
Promote a positive, supportive environment for both staff and residents
Take part in the on-call rota and occasional weekend cover
Candidate Requirements:
Proven experience as a Deputy Manager within a care home is essential
Strong knowledge of CQC standards and inspection readiness
Ideally worked in a Good or Outstanding-rated home
NVQ Level 3 or above in Health & Social Care (Level 5 desirable)
Previous experience in self-funded or luxury care is advantageous
