Deputy Manager – Supported Living Service

£15.50 phr / 40 hours per week

£32,240 per annum  

Compass Associates are working in partnership with a leading adult social care provider with services throughout the UK. They are currently seeking a Deputy Manager for their dedicated Supported Living service in North Yorkshire, providing high-quality support across two schemes in the Harrogate area. The service supports 9 adults with a primary learning disability diagnosis, Autism, and Mental Health needs, including those who may present complex conditions.

The Role:
As a Deputy Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Registered Manager to ensure the highest quality of care is provided across the 2 supported living schemes. You will be responsible for leading and supporting a team of staff while ensuring the wellbeing and development of the individuals we support.

Key duties include:

• Managing staff allocations, recruitment, training, and supervision to ensure a high standard of care delivery.
• Auditing and reviewing care plans, ensuring that they are up-to-date, person-centred, and reflective of the needs of the people we support.
• Promoting social inclusion and independence, and helping people maintain their homes while being part of their communities.
• Ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of the people we support in compliance with policies and regulations.

Shift Patterns:

You would be working on a rolling rota which would include working every other weekend. You would have 2 x 8 hour days (supernumerary) at the registered office and then 2 x 12 hour days working as a Shift Lead in each service from 8am – 8pm.

Requirements:

• Experience working within a Supported Living environment is essential.
• Experience with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs.
• A clear understanding of the REACH standards and person-centred care.
