Compass Associates is thrilled to partner with a private hosptial in Hale, seeking an ambitious and personable Deputy Theatre Manager to join their team. This is a unique opportunity for a skilled Scrub Nurse to step into a leadership role with scope for career progression. Whether you’re an experienced Band 6 or a Band 5 ready for the next level, we’d love to hear from you!

Role and Responsibilities

• Assist in general, cosmetic, and gynaecological surgeries.
• Oversee staff scheduling, resource allocation, equipment management, and theatre lists.
• Build strong connections with consultants, suppliers, and your team.
• Act as a role model and tackle challenges with flexibility and a solution-focused mindset.
• Dedicate 1–2 days a week to administrative tasks, working closely with senior management on strategy.

What We’re Looking For

• At least 3 years of hands-on surgical experience in general, cosmetic, or gynaecological cases.
• A drive to grow and succeed, with leadership potential.
• Strong interpersonal skills and political awareness to navigate complex relationships.
• No prior management experience is required – we’ll mentor and develop you.
• Prior experience in a private setting is desirable, but not essential.
