Job Title: Part-Time Dietitian - Eating Disorder Unit

Salary: £46,000 pro rata

Hours: 22.5 hours per week (3 days)

Location: Bromley, Kent

Qualifications: HCPC Registered Dietitian with eating disorder experience

Overview:

Compass Associates is working in partnership with a leading healthcare provider to recruit for a Part-Time Dietitian to join their Eating Disorder Unit (EDU) in Kent. The successful candidate will work alongside a full-time Dietitian to manage the caseload, providing nutritional support to patients with complex eating disorders. This is a unique opportunity to work in a supportive environment, focused on delivering personalised, patient-centred care.

 

The EDU at this facility specialises in the care of individuals with complex eating disorders, including patients with sensory issues, behavioural challenges, and autism-related conditions. The role offers a fantastic opportunity for professional growth, with access to specialised training and external dietitian supervision.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide expert dietary support for patients with complex eating disorders, ensuring personalised plans are tailored to each individual's needs.

- Work with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients.

- Address the dietary needs of patients with sensory and behavioural challenges, including autism-related conditions.

- Engage in continuous development, including Eating Disorder training and additional courses such as ARFID training.

- Share caseload responsibilities with the full-time Dietitian to ensure comprehensive care across the ward.

- Access to fully funded external dietitian clinical supervision.

 

Working Days:

- Tuesday & Friday will be key working days for this role, with the 3rd day being flexible with when works best for you. 

 

Essential Requirements:

- HCPC Registered Dietitian with a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics.

- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in mental health, with an emphasis on complex patient care.

- Experience working with patients diagnosed with eating disorders.

- Understanding of complex patient presentations and tailored dietary interventions is essential.
