Overview 

 

Compass Associates is proud to be partnering with one of the UK’s most respected charities in the field of neurological care. We are supporting their search for a Head of Care to lead one of their specialist centres, which provides clinically led care for up to 32 patients with a range of neurological conditions, including Acquired Brain Injury, Parkinson’s Disease, and Multiple Sclerosis.

 

As Head of Care, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursing and care team, including Registered Nurses and Healthcare Assistants. Your focus will be on ensuring the delivery of exceptional, person-centred care in a safe, effective, and compliant manner, in line with CQC regulations and the organisation’s internal standards. In addition to ensuring compliance and patient safety, you will be instrumental in fostering a culture that places patient care at the heart of everything the team does. This includes promoting teamwork, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to putting the needs of service users first.

 

What We're Looking For

  • NMC Registered RGN
  • Proven experience in effectively managing a ward or large nursing team
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex and diverse care and rehabilitation services effectively
  • Sound understanding of Clinical Governance
  • Proven leadership experience
  • Ability to lead, inspire and support a multidisciplinary team
  • A clear and current DBS
