Overview
A specialist neurological care centre in Hertfordshire is looking for dedicated and empathetic Healthcare Assistants to join their supportive team. This service provides high-quality care for adults living with complex neurological needs, offering rehabilitation, long-term support, and a focus on maximising wellbeing and independence.
Responsibilities
- Support individuals with neurological conditions in achieving their personal and rehabilitation goals.
- Assist with daily living tasks while promoting choice, dignity, and independence.
- Monitor and report on physical, emotional, and behavioural changes in residents.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date care documentation.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of care and safety.
- Actively contribute to enhancing the service user experience by suggesting improvements and supporting new team members.
- Promote an inclusive and supportive environment where residents’ voices are heard and respected.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience providing care or support in a healthcare, residential, or community setting.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Good literacy, numeracy, and basic IT skills (for care documentation).
- Compassionate, patient, and resilient nature with a genuine passion for helping others.
- Driving licence preferred, but not essential (subsidised transport available).
Salary Package & Benefits
