Requirements:             

- Current Registered Manager of an elderly care home

- Good track record with the CQC

- Passion for elderly care            

- Excellent staff management skills  

- Nurse qualified – preferred, but not essential

               

The Role                      

Compass Associates are working with a private elderly care provider who operate a remit of care homes across England and are now looking for a new Home Manager to oversee the day to day operations for one of their services in Liverpool. Due to a recent vacancy, they are looking for a new Home Manager to lead a care home based in Merseyside that has a good history with the CQC, positive staffing culture and an excellent relationship with key stakeholders in the area.

             

The provider is looking for an experienced Registered Manager, someone who has managed a care home service that provides nursing and residential care, who can help drive on recent successes and empower staff to provide the best care possible and achieve an inspection rating of Good or Outstanding in line with CQC requirements.  

                 

The Candidate                                      

The candidate must have excellent leadership skills and provide evidence that their focus is to run a successful care home, with a positive staff culture and compliant in line with CQC requirements. This position requires a positive person who can motivate and empower a competent staff team, as well as being commercially savvy and ensure the service goes above and beyond to provide outstanding care for its residents.

Location                      

This role is based in Merseyside with great transport links, making it a commutable distance from Liverpool, Warrington, Birkenhead, Runcorn, St Helens, Widnes and Bootle.

                

Interview Process                      

The interview process will be in a 2-stage format.                       

                      

Stage one: Regional Manager

Stage two: Managing Director or Operations Director

My client is seeking a Registered Manager with exposure to management within a care home, where the successful candidate can lead on running a successful home in line with CQC requirements. In exchange, my client is offering a salary of £55k per annum + bonus & benefits.
