Compass Associates are working exclusively in partnership with a well-established and growing care provider to recruit an experienced Home Manager for a nursing, residential and dementia service. This is a key leadership appointment, offering the successful candidate full operational responsibility for the home. The role requires a confident and autonomous leader who can balance high-quality care delivery with strong commercial performance.
The Home Manager will be responsible for maintaining excellent regulatory standards, driving occupancy growth, managing budgets effectively and reducing agency reliance. Alongside commercial oversight, the successful candidate must foster a positive, people-centred culture and ensure strong engagement with residents, families and external stakeholders. You will be supported by an experienced regional leadership structure and a dedicated quality team, while retaining the autonomy to make strategic decisions at service level.
The Candidate
Our client is seeking an established Home Manager with a minimum of three years’ experience leading elderly nursing services. You will demonstrate a strong and consistent track record of performance, regulatory compliance and team leadership.
The ideal candidate will bring:

Proven experience as a Home Manager within elderly nursing and dementia care

Strong commercial acumen, including occupancy growth and budget management

Experience reducing agency usage and building stable staffing structures

A thorough understanding of CQC standards and inspection frameworks

Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with families and professionals
