Summary
CCS | Compass Corporate Services have partnered exclusively with a leading, award-winning psychological healthcare provider in the UK to source an experienced Information Request Officer. This is a brand-new role created due to significant growth in information access demands — a pivotal opportunity to bring expertise and structure to an area critical to governance and patient trust.
Overview
We are looking for an experienced data protection and information governance professional to lead on subject access requests (SARs) and broader information disclosure processes, ensuring legal compliance, confidentiality, and quality assurance across a highly specialist healthcare setting.
The organisation is nationally recognised for its pioneering work in mental health and psychological services, with a reputation for excellence in patient care, safeguarding, and innovation. This role supports that mission by ensuring that every request for information is handled with professionalism, empathy, and meticulous attention to legal frameworks.
Working closely with the Quality and Governance Manager, you will coordinate the receipt, tracking, redaction, and release of sensitive information, often from complex clinical case notes. You’ll play a vital role in protecting patient data while enabling transparency and access — a balance that requires deep knowledge of GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, and healthcare best practices.
