An established private healthcare group is opening a brand-new, state-of-the-art fertility clinic in Belfast, and we’re seeking an experienced Medical Director to lead the service from its inception.

The Opportunity

This is a career-defining leadership role for a forward-thinking fertility specialist who wants to shape the direction of a brand-new clinic from day one.

As Medical Director, you’ll have full clinical oversight — helping to design protocols, lead recruitment, develop service pathways, and build a high-performing, patient-centred team.

You’ll work within a collaborative, nurse-led model that allows doctors to focus on clinical excellence while maintaining robust governance and operational efficiency. With cutting-edge facilities and the backing of a respected healthcare group, this is a chance to make a lasting impact on fertility care in Northern Ireland.

About You

• GMC registration with a background in Reproductive Medicine / IVF
• Proven experience in clinical leadership or service development
• Passionate about innovation, patient safety, and evidence-based practice
• Strong communication and mentorship skills
• Commitment to continuous improvement and multidisciplinary collaboration
