Hours: 33hr or 44hr
Shifts: 08:00pm to 08:00am

We are delighted to be working in partnership with a reputable care home provider that have a number of services across the UK. They are currently seeking a Night Care Assistant to join them on a full time permanent basis working nights at their Large sized nursing home in Redhill, Surrey.   
 
The Candidate
As Nights Care Assistant, you will work nights, you’ll provide personal care to our residents, supporting them with bathing, eating, visiting the bathroom, and also getting around and enjoying our lovely home. Your warm, supportive, and caring nature will help you build meaningful relationships with the residents and you will get to know everything about their likes and dislikes as well as their needs. Here’s some other important things you need to know:

• You’ll follow electronic care plans for each resident and administer medication as prescribed, accurately maintaining appropriate records for both.
• You must be alert at all times to our residents’ physical and mental well being
• You will help maintain our high standards ensuring our residents’ home is always clean and safe

This is a permanent position with a shift pattern of 8pm - 8am.

                                 
Requirements

• NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care or NVQ 3 preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Previous experience working in elderly care / care home setting
