Overview

Compass Associates is pleased to be collaborating with a leading not-for-profit specialist neurological care and rehabilitation centre located in Brentwood, Essex. You will be joining a stable multidisciplinary team of professionals including Physiotherapists, Psychologists, Music Therapists, Speech & Language Therapists, Nurses and Occupational Therapists all dedicated to the assessment and treatment of a variety of neurological conditions, including acquired brain injuries, spinal cord injuries and progressive or peripheral conditions, with or without complex needs.

The predominantly inpatient service has been established for over 100 years, and now boasts 3 modern units as well as three individual pre-discharge bungalows. The facilities also include a state-of-the-art sensory room, landscaped sensory gardens, central cafeteria, among other great features.

In order to help the service provide specialised and evidence-based treatment that are proven to help tackle the issues faced by its service users, we are working in partnership to headhunt for an Occupational Therapist to join their multidisciplinary team.            

Location           

This specialist neuro care and rehabilitation service is located in Brentwood, Essex and is commutable from Aylesford, Greenwich, Watford, Luton, Bishop’s Stortford, Colchester, Ipswich, Southend-on-Sea and other surrounding towns and villages.

Criteria              

- A degree in Occupational Therapy

- HCPC Registration

Shift Pattern                                

As a full-time Occupational Therapy and Transition Service Lead, you will be expected to work an average of 37.5 hours per week: Mon – Fri 08:30-16:00.

Interview Process          

This will be a one-stage process carried out with the CEO and Director of Therapies, and ideally face-to-face.

Salary and Benefits          

This Occupational Therapist position pays between £33,150 and £42,900, depending on experience and qualifications, and includes an industry-leading benefit package as follows:
