Salary: £35,000 per annum

Hours: 4 days per week (30 hours)

Overview:

Compass Associates is delighted to partner with a prestigious mental health hospital in London to recruit an Occupational Therapist for their highly skilled and stable therapy team. This well-established hospital offers both inpatient and outpatient programmes, delivering specialist services for both adult and child clients, with a particular focus on general psychiatry and OCD programmes. This is a unique and rewarding opportunity to work in a dynamic and diverse clinical environment that offers a rich variety of therapeutic experiences across multiple care settings.

As an Occupational Therapist, you will work closely with a supportive team of professionals, including Occupational Therapists, CBT Therapists, and Psychologists, to provide holistic care. Your role will include conducting Activities of Daily Living (ADL) assessments, discharge assessments, and mobility assessments, as well as providing one-to-one therapy where needed. You will also lead group therapy sessions and be involved in treatment planning for patients transitioning from inpatient care to outpatient support.

What We’re Looking For:

• Honours Degree in Occupational Therapy with active HCPC registration.
• At least 2 years’ post-qualification experience in a mental health setting
• Experience in conducting ADL, mobility, and discharge assessments.
