OFSTED Registered Manager – Brand New Service
Location: Leigh, Greater Manchester
Salary: £53,000 - £61,000 per annum
Remit
Compass Associates are working in partnership with a social care provider who specialise in residential step-down services and specialist education for children and young people with complex needs including autism, learning disabilities and mental health issues. They also offer specialist placements to children who may have suffered trauma or who have attachment-based problems.
They are currently in the process of purchasing a property from the local authority in Leigh, Greater Manchester. This will be a 2 bedded step down service providing care to children with high complex needs.
As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the commissioning and refurbishment of the service as well as recruiting a brand new staff team
Requirements
Studying for or qualified NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management (full support given)
3 years minimum management experience in a similar setting
Background of working with children with autism and/or learning disabilities
Knowledge of Ofsted standards
Strong people management skills, communicator, team player
Clear DBS / CRB
