Compass Associates are proud to be working with an award-winning healthcare organisation, who are currently recruiting for an experienced Outpatient Nurse to join their state-of-the-art hospital in Central London. This hospital is renowned for its excellence in providing a wide range of services, including Cardiac, Orthopaedics, Oncology, General Surgery, Gynaecology, Urology and Endoscopy. They are fully dedicated to providing personalised care for each patient, delivering both quality care and outcomes.

The Candidate 

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Outpatient Nurse to join a Flagship Hospital. The successful candidate will work as part of their highly specialised Outpatients team to provide effective, evidence-based and patient focused care. They have a busy outpatients department covering a range of clinics including Orthopaedics, Cardiology, ENT, Gynaecology and Urology. 

This is a full-time position consisting of 37.5 hours per week, which has a highly desirable shift pattern which is currently being worked between Monday-Friday (4 shifts per week). You will have a number of key responsibilities including:

• Providing comprehensive nursing care to patients attending the outpatients department
• Reviewing medical history and assessing patients
• Patient education
• Taking bloods, administering medications and wound dressing
• Coordinating care
• Assisting with diagnostic tests and minor procedures

Requirements                

• Qualified Nurse with NMC registration        
• Right to work in UK
• Experience within an outpatient setting  
• Confident and competent in phlebotomy and wound care               
• Passion for high quality care                
• Motivated individual                 
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills                
• High sense of personal responsibility
