Job Title: Outpatient Psychologist - Clinical or Counselling - HCPC

Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 (DOE) pro rata for part-time

Hours: Full-time (5 days) or Part-time (3 or 4 days)

Compass Associates is proud to collaborate with a respected private outpatient mental health provider based in the prestigious Belgravia area, to recruit a dedicated Clinical or Counselling Psychologist.

 

As an Outpatient Psychologist, you will have a guaranteed caseload, enabling you to deliver tailored psychological assessments and interventions to individuals with acute mental health conditions and neuro-diversity. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, formulating treatment plans, and providing recommendations for further care and support. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will also offer specialist advice and guidance to colleagues, contributing to client care and improving overall service delivery.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct specialist psychological assessments for patients with acute mental health concerns and neuro-diversity.
  • Formulate detailed treatment plans and provide psychological interventions, including therapeutic interventions where appropriate.
  • Provide expert advice and consultation to other professionals involved in client care.
  • Take responsibility for the assessment, treatment, and discharge of clients under your care, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based practice.
  • Carry out risk assessments and management for individual clients.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of services, ensuring they meet the needs of those with complex mental health and neuro-diverse conditions.

Essential Requirements:

  • HCPC Registered Clinical or Counselling Psychologist.
  • Experience working within private mental health settings.
  • Availability to work occasional weekends as required.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex presentations and neuro-diverse conditions.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of evidence-based therapeutic interventions and their application.

Salary & Benefits:
