Job Title: HCPC Psychologist - Outpatient - Clinical or Counselling 

Salary: £54,000 - £72,000 FTE (DOE) 

Hours: 22.5 hours or 30 hours per week

We are seeking a skilled Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join their dedicated team, offering a chance to make a significant impact in the lives of clients experiencing a range of mental health challenges.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced psychologist who is looking to apply their expertise in a dynamic, patient-centred environment. You will be responsible for conducting thorough psychological assessments, creating personalised treatment plans, and delivering high-quality therapeutic interventions. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialised psychological assessment and intervention for patients utilising the service.
• Offer expert advice, guidance, and consultation to other professionals involved in the client's formulation, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
• Take independent professional responsibility for the assessment, treatment, and discharge of clients receiving psychologically-based standard care plans.
• Conduct psychometric tests and other evidence-based assessments as clinically required.
• Perform risk assessments and manage risks for individual clients.

Essential Requirements:

• HCPC Registered Clinical or Counselling Psychologist.
• Comfortable with occasional weekend availability.
• Proven track record of managing complex cases and working with neurodiverse conditions.
• Strong foundation in evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
