Paediatric Nurse / RCN - Community and Inpatients - Mainly Day Shifts 

£41,360 DOE + Fantastic Benefits Package          

Full Time - 37.5 hours

This leading and well-funded Private Hospice and respite centre are currently in search for a passionate Paediatric Nurse to help unwell babies, children and young people to make the most of everyday. Set in a stunning nature reserve in North London, it's a workplace of creating everlasting memories with patients and their loved ones. You will need to have a passion for supporting children, have compassion, sensitivity and confidentiality at the forefront of everything you do.   

   

As part of their specialist paediatric nurse team, you will care for children who are staying at the hospice and those visiting for respite care, in addition to providing care within children's homes to give parents a break. You will also be able to work some days from home to complete any paper work, in addition to protected study days at least every other week, to ensure your career is moving in the direction you want!  

   

 

Shifts:

  • This role is mainly 9AM to 5PM Monday to Friday - you will need to be happy to work up to two weekends a month (this will reduce the amount of weekday shifts you have).
  • Weekends are long shifts and these can be days or nights.
  • More information on working patterns can be given during the informal call.

 

What you can bring:    

  • You will be a junior or experienced RCN / paediatric nurse with a keen interest in the palliative and respite care sector looking to continue to grow and develop your skills. You will have a can-do positive attitude and will show in your day-to-day tasks that you want to make the difference in turning a patients day around.  
  • At least 1 years nursing experience
  • Experience within a medical ward environment is desirable

This role is based in Barnet and is commutable from Watford, Edgware, Tottenham, Enfield, Potters Bar, St Albans, Hemel Hempstead, Welwyn Garden City, Wembley and London.
