Peripatetic Nurse – Elderly Nursing Homes
Location: Gloucestershire Region
Salary: £25.52 hour (weekdays) | £26.52 hour (weekends) + Paid Breaks
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time (37.5 hours/week)
Shift Pattern: 07:45–20:15, full flexibility required (including night shifts where necessary)

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join their team as a Peripatetic Nurse, providing clinical support across multiple elderly care homes in the Gloucestershire area.

Key Responsibilities
Provide flexible nursing cover across multiple homes within the region
Lead and support care teams, ensuring delivery of high-quality, person-centred care
Step in to cover shifts during staff absence, vacancies, or leave
Mentor newly recruited nurses and support ongoing development of current staff
Build strong professional relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
Promote a positive and professional clinical culture across services
Candidate Profile
Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with a valid NMC PIN
Minimum of 3 years’ clinical experience in an elderly care home setting
Confident, adaptable, and capable of working independently
Strong leadership and communication skills
A genuine passion for elderly care and improving outcomes for residents
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (travel required between sites)
Flexible to work across 5 out of 7 days, including weekends and night shifts as needed
