Compass Associates are proud to be working with a valued client in their recruitment for an experienced Peripatetic/Support Manager to support a portfolio of elderly nursing homes based around Nottingham and surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing care provider in a hands-on leadership role, working alongside existing Home Managers to support with developing operational, care quality and team performance across the homes.
This role would suit an experienced Home Manager, Peripatetic Manager or Support Manager with strong exposure to dementia nursing environments. You will be responsible for providing hands on, collaborative support to Home Managers, helping build their confidence in leading teams and managing complex dementia care, supporting occupancy growth, and being prepared to step into a Home Manager capacity on an interim basis if required.
The Candidate
The successful candidate must have experience within dementia nursing environments, with a strong understanding of dementia care essential and previous experience supporting residents with more complex dementia needs highly desirable. Candidates may currently be working as a Home Manager, Peripatetic Manager, or Support Manager. A nursing qualification is not required, but confidence working within nursing home settings is essential.
The ideal candidate will be a collaborative leader who can build trust quickly, support existing managers, and positively influence teams without being overbearing. You will need to show resilience, a people focused approach, and the confidence to hold teams accountable while maintaining a supportive leadership style.

This role will be based around Nottinghamshire and would be suitable to commute from: Grantham, Newark-on-Trent, Bingham, Melton Mowbray, Loughborough, Oakham, Sleaford, and surrounding areas.
