Compass Associates are delighted to be working with one of the UK’s leading Community Pharmacy groups in the search for a diligent Pharmacy Manager to lead their dynamic team in Bradford. As a reputable and community oriented pharmacy chain, our client is committed to providing the highest standard of care to their patients. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and will be able to work effectively as a part of a cohesive team. You’ll have a “can-do” attitude and will have a passion for providing great care to the community.

 

This branch is staffed with an experienced team including an ACPT and four Healthcare Partners who provide an excellent service to the local community from their setting in a local supermarket. Currently dispensing around 6,800 items per month, this is a steady branch. As well as providing a variety of services, this branch also utilises robotic distribution technology. freeing up time to provide excellent patient care.

What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Manage day-to-day pharmacy operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care and adherence to regulatory standards
  • Oversee a dedicated team of pharmacy staff, providing guidance, support, and training as needed
  • Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines
  • Provide medication counselling and support to patients, answering their questions and addressing concerns
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including doctors and nurses, to optimize patient care
  • Conduct medication reviews and ensure safe and effective medication management
  • Maintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy inventory
  • Provide immunization services (where applicable)
  • Offer advice on over-the-counter medications and healthcare products
  • Actively participate in health promotion and public health initiatives

 

What You’ll Bring

 

  • Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • Proven experience in a community pharmacy setting with management experience preferred
  • Strong commitment to patient care and safety
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
  • Up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceutical products and healthcare trends
  • A flexible and positive approach to problem-solving

 

Hours

 

38.25 hours per week (Averaged on a 2 week working pattern)

 

Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 09.00 to 17.30 and Saturday 09.00 to 17.30

Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday 09.00 to 17.30 and Saturday 09.00 to 17.30

 

Location


This Community Pharmacy is based in Bradford and commutable from Leeds, Wakefield, Huddersfield, Brighouse, Pudsey, Horsforth, Yeadon, Menston, Baildon, Shipley, Bingley, Keighley, Wilsden, Denholme, Queensbury and Halifax.
