Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to join a specialist neurological care and rehabilitation service that supports adults living with a range of complex conditions, including acquired brain injury and other neurological disorders. You’ll be part of a multi-disciplinary team that combines compassion, clinical expertise, and evidence-based practice to help people reach their personal goals and improve their wellbeing.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments focused on optimising mobility, independence, and symptom management.
- Develop and implement tailored rehabilitation programmes that support each individual’s goals and needs.
- Collaborate closely with families, carers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a consistent and holistic approach to care.
- Provide advice and training to support staff, ensuring best practice in physical management and rehabilitation.
- Oversee the safe prescription, use, and maintenance of equipment.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical records in line with professional and service standards.
- Promote a culture of safety, respect, and empowerment within the care environment.
- Contribute to ongoing service development through reflective practice, supervision, and training initiatives.
Candidate Requirements
- Diploma/BSc in Physiotherapy.
- Current and valid registration with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. CSP) is desirable.
- Demonstrable experience or a strong interest in neurological rehabilitation or complex care.
- Proven ability to assess, plan, and deliver physiotherapy interventions using sound clinical reasoning.
- Confident in managing risk in relation to physical performance and mobility.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to professional development and evidence-based practice.
