A leading private healthcare provider is looking for a talented Resident Doctor to join a Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) team, providing specialist care to critically ill children from 6 months to 18 years.

As a Resident Doctor in PICU, you will play a vital role in the management of high-acuity patients with complex medical and surgical needs, including neurological disorders, congenital cardiac conditions, and post-surgical recovery.

You’ll work in a dynamic, consultant-led multidisciplinary team, handling cases that require non-invasive ventilation (NIV), full ventilation, and advanced critical care interventions.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Conducting ward rounds and managing patients in a 9-bed PICU and 5-bed HDU.
• Participating in the Paediatric Emergency Response Team, handling airway management, intubation, and emergency procedures.
• Working closely with PICU consultants (both Surgical and Medical teams) to deliver expert patient care.
• Managing pre- and post-operative care, including complex cardiac, orthopaedic, urology, and spinal surgeries.
• Engaging in case discussions, audits, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance clinical practice.

What You’ll Bring:

• GMC registration with completion of Foundation Training.
• A minimum of three years’ post-graduate experience in Paediatrics, with PICU experience.
• ALS certification and demonstrated competency in paediatric ICU emergency care and airway management.
• A strong commitment to patient-centred care and team collaboration.
