Overview:

Compass Associates is proud to be working with a leading provider of mental health care services, supporting their search for a Practitioner Psychologist to join their specialist rehabilitation and recovery service in Hook, Hampshire. As a Practitioner Psychologist, you will work across multiple wards, providing psychological assessments, interventions, and therapeutic support to adults with mental health conditions, learning disabilities, and autism. This is an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to care planning, risk assessments, and service development while helping to deliver rehabilitation and recovery pathways. You will also liaise with families and carers, ensuring the best outcomes for the service users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions, tailored to service users' needs, focusing on their rehabilitation and recovery.
• Conduct psychological assessments and risk evaluations to support treatment planning for those undergoing rehabilitation and recovery.
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals within a multidisciplinary team to enhance service users' rehabilitation and recovery.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to MDT meetings, ensuring a focus on rehabilitation and recovery.
• Provide clinical leadership and guidance to psychology assistants to foster an environment of high-quality care in rehabilitation and recovery.
• Contribute to research, audits, and service improvement initiatives that enhance the rehabilitation and recovery process.

Essential Requirements:

• HCPC Registered Clinical or Counselling Psychologist
• Experience working in mental health inpatient settings (preferred but not essential)
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions for rehabilitation and recovery
• Ability to manage a complex caseload and provide specialist advice to colleagues involved in rehabilitation and recovery

Salary & Benefits:

• Standard working hours: 8am-4pm / 9am-5pm (Monday-Friday)
