Full Time/Permanent Contract - 40 hours per week

Monday - Friday 8am - 6:30pm

£45,000 - £48,000 per annum

Compass Associates are proud to be working in partnership with a leading healthcare provider in their search for a Prescribing Pharmacist to work across their 3 GP practices based in Milton Keynes. The group have provided primary services for over 16 years and are renowned for their excellent level of care and service, delivering NHS primary, urgent and community care services across the country.        

Using their clinical knowledge and experience with pharmaceutical guidance, the successful candidate will be working with patients from assessment and diagnosis all the way through to the implementation and assessment of care, ensuring that a high standard of treatment is provided throughout.

The role-holder will be instrumental in supporting patients with medicines information and pharmaceutical advice as well as prescribing urgent prescription requests. They will also be working closely with the clinical and and managerial teams across the practices to implement new services whilst also auditing and evaluating current methods of care to ensure standard are met across the network.

Essential Requirements              

- Registered with current NMC/GPhC/HCPC.        

- Previous experience working within a primary care setting.    

- Certified Independent Prescriber.

- Completion of the CPPE pathway.         

- Evidence of progression within their role.              

- Good interpersonal and communication skills.           

- Passion for high quality patient safety and care.        

Location                     

This role is based in Milton Keynes - commutable from Northampton, Bedford, Luton, Bicester & Aylesbury.
