Regional Clinic Manager – Healthcare Operations

Salary: £40,000 per annum

Location: South of UK region (home working with regular clinic visits)

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Regional Clinic Manager to oversee and support a growing network of clinics. This is a people-focused, operational role with responsibility for clinic performance, staff leadership, governance, and quality compliance. You will work closely with the Group Clinic Operations Manager and Operations Director to support clinic teams to ensure services run efficiently and meet regulatory standards.

 

This role is ideal for a leader who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment, enjoys operational excellence, and can build strong relationships with colleagues and patients across multiple locations. Your region will span from Bristol to Cambridge.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of clinics within your region, ensuring smooth running and high standards of patient care.
  • Act as CQC Registered Manager for your clinics; oversee compliance, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Manage, coach, and develop direct reports including nurses, nurse practitioners, and clinic administrators.
  • Monitor staffing, rotas, and clinic utilisation to optimise operational efficiency.
  • Oversee stock control and facilities management, liaising with the relevant teams.
  • Manage patient feedback, complaints, and adverse incidents, ensuring learning and improvement.
  • Ensure staff complete mandatory training and meaningful performance reviews.
  • Travel within the region regularly and be visible on-site to clinic teams.
  • Support out-of-hours operations as required, including on-call Saturdays.

 

Experience Required

 

Essential

  • Proven experience in a multi-site operational or healthcare management role.
  • Experience managing and developing teams effectively.
  • Willingness to complete training to become a CQC Registered Manager.
  • Must come from a healthcare regulated environment.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong IT literacy and confidence using Microsoft Office and operational systems.
  • Ability and willingness to travel within the region.

 

Desirable

  • Expert knowledge of CQC compliance
  • Previous clinical background
  • Familiarity with KPI-setting and bonus-linked performance metrics.
