Regional Community Services Manager

£60,000 – £64,000 per annum

Full-Time, Permanent – 37.5 Hours per Week

Reading - Berkshire

 

We're working with a hospice provider in the Southeast to recruit an experienced Regional Community Services Manager to lead community-based palliative and end-of-life care services across Berkshire West and South Oxfordshire.

 

Reporting to the Head of Clinical Services, this role will oversee Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) and Hospice at Home teams, supporting high-quality patient care, service improvement and partnership working across the region.

 

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse and clinical leader to help shape and develop regional community palliative care services.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support multidisciplinary community teams
  • Oversee service quality, performance and clinical outcomes
  • Drive service development and change initiatives
  • Support workforce development and team wellbeing
  • Build effective relationships with healthcare partners and stakeholders
  • Promote safe, inclusive and equitable care delivery
  • Support high standards of clinical governance and patient care

Essential Criteria

  • Current NMC Registration
  • Leadership experience within community healthcare services
  • Palliative and end-of-life care experience
  • Experience leading teams through service development and change
  • Strong management and communication skills
  • Relevant management qualification or equivalent experience
  • Degree-level qualification or equivalent demonstrable experience
  • Ability to manage competing priorities within a regional service

This regional role covers Berkshire West and South Oxfordshire and would be well suited to candidates based in or commutable from Reading, Newbury, Wokingham, Wallingford, Henley-on-Thames, Didcot, Thatcham, Basingstoke, Bracknell, Maidenhead, Abingdon and High Wycombe.
