Overview:
Compass Associates are partnering with a specialist provider of community-based complex healthcare services for adults and children with highly complex, life-limiting needs. This organisation delivers nurse-led, person-centred care that enables clients to live safely and independently in their own homes.
We are seeking a Regional Lead Nurse to provide clinical leadership across the organisation’s regional teams, supporting Nurse Case Managers, promoting best practice, and ensuring high-quality service delivery across complex care services.
This is an exciting opportunity to influence service development, mentor clinical staff, and drive consistent excellence within a highly respected nurse-led model of care.
Location:
Office-based (situated in Mitcham, South London) with occasional regional travel across services in London and the South East, including Essex, Hertfordshire, and surrounding areas.
The Role:
As Regional Lead Nurse, you will:
- Lead and mentor a regional team of Nurse Case Managers, providing supervision, performance management, and clinical oversight
- Support mobilisation and assessment of complex care packages, particularly during critical transitions or high-demand periods
- Build strong relationships with families, commissioners, and multidisciplinary stakeholders to promote high-quality care and service growth
- Provide hands-on clinical leadership when required, maintaining outcome-focused, person-centred care
- Contribute to clinical governance, service development, and quality assurance initiatives
Criteria:
- Registered Nurse with current UK NMC registration
- Experience in complex care or community health services, including case management and knowledge of advanced clinical interventions (e.g., tracheostomy care, enteral feeding, ventilators)
- Proven experience in clinical leadership and team management, including mentoring, supervision, and performance management of nurses
- Strong leadership and business acumen, with the ability to influence stakeholders
