Regional Lead Occupational Therapist & Sensory Integration Practitioner
Location: Home-based with travel across Yorkshire & the Midlands
Salary: £45,000 - £50,500 + £5000 car allowance
*Must have sensory integration/practitioner qualifications*
Remit
Compass Associates is proud to be working with a leading provider of specialist mental health and learning disabilities’ services, to recruit a Regional Lead Occupational Therapist & Sensory Practitioner for their Yorkshire and Midlands regions.
The services in your remit include inpatient mental health hospitals and community-based complex care homes for adults with learning disabilities, autism spectrum conditions and challenging behaviours. As Regional Lead, you will oversee the services’ Occupational Therapy provisions, with the support of each site’s Lead Occupational Therapist and/or Head of Therapy, as well provide professional leadership to more junior OTs. You will also be involved in service development where you will work in collaboration with the organisation’s other Regional Lead Occupational Therapists.
This role requires a qualified Sensory Integration Practitioner as you will manage a specific caseload, who are referred to you for SI assessments, treatment and evaluation of interventions.
Location
As Regional Lead, you will be expected to travel to visit sites across Yorkshire and the Midlands, depending on clinical need, however you will be able to manage your own diary.
