Regional Manager | Elderly Care Portfolio

Salary: £70,000 per annum + car allowance + mileage  

 

Requirements:

  • Currently operating as a Regional Manager or similar position
  • Comfortable with travel across the North East
  • Strong commercial background
  • Hands-on, collaborative leadership style 

The Role                          

Compass Associates are partnering with a fantastic client that operate a portfolio of elderly care homes across the UK, these homes provide general nursing, residential and dementia care to elderly residents. A new opportunity has arisen to join the business as a Regional Manager. This role will support a medium sized remit of care homes with direct line management of the Registered Managers within the service.

 

The role will include travel between homes, making it imperative that the applicant holds a clean drivers' license with access to their own car. Joining the SLT, the Regional Manager will hold full autonomy over their own diary, and play a part in forming wider business decisions. 

 

Candidate

The successful candidate will come from a similar background and possess a motivational, collaborative leadership style in order to gain the best from their teams. They'll work alongside the senior management team, contributing to future development along with day to day operations. They will be able to monitor occupancy trends, identify ways to reduce agency usage and have an attention to detail when it comes to auditing each service thoroughly. 

 

Interview Process                          

The interview process will be 2 stages, over Teams and F2F. 

 

Location

The role is commutable from: Ripon, Thirsk, Northallerton, Whitby, Redcar, Middlesbrough, Darlington, Stockton-on-Tees, Newton Aycliffe, Hartlepool, Durham, Sunderland and Chester-le-Street. 

 

Summary

My client are seeking a Regional Manager to oversee a portfolio of elderly care homes based in the North East. You'll have a background of line managing a team of Registered Manager's, comfortable analysing P&L, occupancy calls and strategizing agency reduction. In return, you'll join a developing business with a solid senior leadership team, keen on offering support and autonomy.
