Job Title: Regional Manager – Domiciliary Care & Extra Care Schemes
Location: Kent (8 Sites Across the Region)
Salary: £52,000 per annum + Bonus Scheme
Reports To: Director of Care – South
About Us:
Compass Associates are working with one of the largest home care providers in the UK who are committed to delivering high-quality care and support across a range of services. Their mission is to ensure that every individual receives the best care possible, and now they are looking for an experienced Regional Manager to lead and oversee operations across 8 domiciliary care and extra care schemes in Kent.
Role Overview:
As Regional Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of 8 care sites across Kent, ensuring that each site delivers outstanding care and meets regulatory requirements. This role will involve managing site managers, ensuring high standards of quality and compliance, and contributing to the strategic direction of care delivery across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and support the Site Managers across 8 domiciliary and extra care schemes in Kent, ensuring they provide excellent care in line with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Ensure all sites are fully compliant with CQC standards, driving a culture of continuous improvement.
Review and monitor the performance of each site, identifying areas for improvement and implementing action plans.
Lead and inspire site managers, providing coaching and support to foster high-performing teams.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Develop and implement strategies to improve the overall performance and profitability of each site.
Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and legislation, including CQC guidelines and regulations.
Drive staff recruitment, retention, and development across the region.
Report to the Director of Care for the South, providing regular updates on site performance, compliance, and any issues requiring attention.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Regional or Multi-Site Manager within the domiciliary care or extra care sector.
Significant people management experience, with a track record of leading and developing teams.
In-depth knowledge of CQC quality and compliance frameworks.
Ideally, a proven track record of achieving good or outstanding CQC inspections across multiple sites.
Ability to hit the ground running with a proactive, hands-on management style.
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Must be a driver, based in Kent, and comfortable with daily/weekly travel between the different sites.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with staff, families, and external partners.
