Regional Support Manager - RGN - for Elderly Nursing Homes
Location: London, Essex
Salary: £70,000 to £80,000 plus benefits
Hours: Full-time
Rachel (Principle Consultant) at Compass Associates is working exclusivity with a leading provider of high-quality care for the elderly, dedicated to delivering compassionate and individualised care within their network of nursing homes. We are looking for a Regional Support Manager to join their team and support the operations of our Elderly Nursing homes in the London and Essex remit. Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Oversight: Provide leadership and guidance to a network of nursing homes, ensuring consistent, high-quality care and services are delivered to residents.
- Staff Management: Support Home managers by providing training, mentoring, and performance management of staff across multiple locations.
- Compliance and Quality Control: Ensure all homes meet regulatory requirements and adhere to our standards of care. Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Financial Management: Assist with budgeting, resource allocation, and cost control for each facility in your region.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the key liaison between facilities, families, and external organisations. Foster relationships to enhance community involvement and ensure satisfaction.
- Crisis Management: Provide support during critical incidents, ensuring proper protocols are followed and that any issues are resolved effectively.
- Reporting & Documentation: Ensure all necessary reports, records, and documentation are completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner.
Key Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience in a managerial or senior support role in elderly care, nursing home, or healthcare setting.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of care standards, nursing home regulations, and healthcare policies.
- Leadership: Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate teams and manage diverse groups of people.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to report to senior management and engage with families and residents.
- Organisational Skills: Ability to manage multiple locations effectively, prioritise tasks, and maintain high attention to detail.
- Qualifications: A degree in healthcare management, nursing, or a related field is preferred, though relevant experience will also be considered.
