The Role
Compass Associates are pleased to be partnering with a well-established care provider who operate a portfolio of residential and dementia care homes. They are currently seeking a Registered Home Manager to lead a residential and dementia care service based around the Darlington area.
This role offers the opportunity to join a stable, supportive organisation, with strong operational backing including a Deputy Manager, Regional Manager, and a well-established care team.
You will take full responsibility for the day-to-day operational management of the home, ensuring high standards of person-centred care, robust CQC compliance, strong occupancy levels, effective agency control, and continuous quality improvement. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader to make a real impact within a well-supported and forward-thinking environment.
Candidate
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing residential and dementia care services, with a strong understanding of CQC regulations, governance, and regulatory expectations.
You will bring proven expertise in occupancy management, staff retention, and performance improvement, alongside the ability to build positive relationships with families and the wider community. The role is commutable from: Darlington, Newton Aycliffe, Spennymoor, Sedgefield, Hartlepool, Stockton, Middlesbrough, Northallerton, Catterick and Richmond.
